My journey in Intimacy Choreography/Direction stemmed from my work in movement; choreographing intimate scenes. It has evolved with the advent of the role. In 2019 I was the Movement and Intimacy Choreographer for the opera Breaking the Waves (directed by Tom Morris) at the Edinburgh International Arts Festival.

I have trained with Intimacy Directors International (UK) and have full accreditation with the Intimacy Professionals Association (USA). I am committed to advocating for performers to be respected, nurtured, and confident when venturing into intimate storytelling. My master’s thesis “The Actor’s Alphabet” focused on developments of Rudolph von Laban’s work applied to acting. I teach workshops in Movement, Intimacy and Acting.
